With the launch of the 9600 Ambilight high definition LCD TVs, Philips has accomplished a high stature of offering the fastest LCD panels currently available. This series of FlatTV delivers an enhanced version of their Perfect Pixel HD system to improve black levels and overall contrast ratio.
Comprising 32in, 37in, 42in and 47in models, the 9600 Ambilight LCD HDTVs have FlatTVs with the model number such as 32PFL9603D, 37PFL9603D, 42PFL9603D and 47PFL9603D.
In order to provide a sharper, more natural looking picture, the new Perfect Pixel HD system produces around 500 million pixels per second. The features of the LCD TV include 2ms response time, 100Hz Clear LCD technology to reduce the motion blur, 1080p 24fps mode, 4 HDMIs and contrast ratio of 30,000:1.
Philips’ latest four LCD TVs support 12-bit and 17-bit color for improved light reproduction. The newest series also incorporates Ambilight Spectra technology and an integrated speaker.
Expected to launch in June, the Philips 9600 Ambilight LCD HDTVs in 32, 37, 42, and 47-inch screen sizes would sell for a suggest price of £999, £1,499, £1,799, and £1,999 respectively.
